Les Berges de la Seine
The Les Berges de la Seine Series was photographed using the Fuji X100, capturing the riverbanks in the quiet hours of early morning. A few joggers and cyclists moved along the water’s edge, their presence understated, while the city gradually awakened. Along the promenade, an open-air exhibition of photographs unfolded in sequence, transforming the riverside into a linear gallery accessible to passersby. The calm atmosphere allowed the interplay between movement, art, and landscape to emerge gently, without the crowds that later fill these spaces.
Positioned across from one of Paris’s major museums— the Musée d'Orsay—the riverbank becomes part of a broader cultural landscape where architecture, art, and public life intersect. The photographs capture this understated vitality: a place of slow rhythms and informal encounters, where the Seine acts as both backdrop and organizing element. In these early moments, Les Berges de la Seine appears less as a tourist destination and more as a lived urban space, offering a quiet pause within the city’s daily flow.
